Inclusion Week reminds us that every voice matters.

Inclusion Week reminds us that every voice matters.

This year MLA serves as an Inclusion site welcoming all students especially in our ESE wing with EI,ASD, ECCD. This project helped students to connect and understand event though students may learn differently or speak a different language we are all connected. Students used art to create a paper chain representing inclusion, highlighting the importance of embracing diversity among children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD),and Hispanic students. Each link in the chain symbolized connection, acceptance, and the strength that comes from recognizing and valuing differences. This activity helped students visually understand that everyone belongs and deserves to feel seen, supported, and included, regardless of their background or abilities. A shout out goes to the ASD department and Art Team for creating this Inclusion Link Chain Project.
