PBIS & Restorative Practices
PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention System) is a school-wide initiative utilized to encourage, support, recognize and celebrate positive behaviors. We proactively work with students to help eliminate behavior concerns. We use restorative practices to help restore the situation to a place of peace for everyone involved. Examples of restorative practice are: 1-1 meeting, restorative circle, think sheet, etc. We also give students the tools needed to positively resolve issues they may have.
